En el 2006 los ojos estaban puestos, sin embargo, en otra editora de Vogue: Anna Wintour. La periodista Lauren Weisberger se despachó a gusto en su novela "The Devil Wears Prada", volcando todas sus experiencias laborales vividas en la revista. Pese a usar nombres ficticios todo el mundo sabía quién era quién.
Anna Wintour no defraudó y acudió a la premiere de la película vestida, como cabía esperar, de Prada.
Para Meryl Streep su papel de Miranda Priestley supuso su 14ª nominación a los Oscars y su 6º Globo de Oro.
